Danish oil firm Maersk Oil has resumed production from its Tyra field offshore platforms.
To remind, production from the Tyra East and West had been temporarily shut earlier this week due to a bad weather in the Danish sector of the North Sea.
A Maersk oil spokesperson said: “Production on the Tyra platforms was started yesterday in the morning.”
The Tyra East and West are platform complexes located at the Tyra field. The field was discovered in 1968 and production started in 1984.
The Tyra platforms form the export centre for all gas produced in Danish Underground Consortium (DUC). The DUC membership includes Maersk Oil, as operator with 31.2%, Shell 36.8%, Chevron 12.0% and Nordsøfonden 20%.
